"Did you go to the woods today?"
She said "today" just now.
They talk about the woods with familiarity, as if it's the norm.
Such a thing is unheard of in a Japanese town.
"Did you go to the woods today?"
Come to think of it, isn't this like a conversation with Moomin and Little My?
That's everyday life here.
Denmark was that kind of place.
I lived in Denmark for one year in 2010, with the Agency for Cultural Affairs in the Program of Overseas Study for Upcoming Artists.
Deeply ingrained in my memory, I named this website based off of this.
1965 Born in Hyogo, JAPAN.
When childhood, played in the near by rich woods and back mountains. From the childhood she liked painting. In junior school and high school, drew oil paintings.
1984 Admitted to the Kyoto City University of Arts, in the Art department. After the basic course of Oil painting, learned from The late professor Yoshihara hideo.
1989 During University of Arts, At the Ban Gallery in Osaka, first solo exhibition of lithograph works.
Received many awards at the competition. Art works are stored in the National Museum of Art, Osaka, Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art, etc.
1990 Completed the Master’s Course in Printmaking , Graduate School of Art,
at Kyoto City University of Arts.
1994 Produced Print work and Oil painting.
1997 Produced Oil paintings of Indeterminate form canvas.
2000 Appointed Print works for the Shiseido calendar.
2010~11 Stayed in Denmark for Japanese Government Overseas Study Program for Artists.Prodused Art work, and held solo exhibitions.
2011 In Denmark, Acquired Glass fusing technique, produced Art work with it.
2012 Held first exhibitions using gass artwork.
2014〜 Related to Tadanori Yokoo Nishiwaki City Okanoyama Art Museum, held exhibitions "let's Go to woods" ,poster design was Tadanori Yokoo.
2017〜 Produced Artwork,Tableau with Glass collage.
28th Fumiko Kametaka Memorial-Akashosha Award
  Exhibitions held every region of the country. Invited exhibitions held domestic and overseas, exhibited at art fairs.Opened many workshops, and talk shows.
